Survival Skills for Women, based on the belief that all women have something to contribute, is a life management skills program where the underlying goal is to facilitate the personal and economic self-sufficiency of ALL women.
We adhere to a three-pronged philosophy:
- ALL women have inherent worth, strength, and competence.
- Growth can occur when old skills and behaviors are reviewed or new ones learned.
- A safe and supportive learning environment and a positive social network are important to optimal personal growth, skill development, and lasting behavioral change.
